Did Dinosaurs Build The Pyramids?

The pyramids of Giza are the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the world The Great Pyramid was completed around the year 2560 B

C, and was the tallest building in the world for nearly four thousand years It is made from 23 million blocks of stone, some weighing 70 tonnes each, that were somehow carried across the desert by a civilisation that had yet to invent the wheel In 2013, archaeologists discovered a hidden collection of papyri, documents written in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, dating back 4,600 years

They are the oldest ever found, and their authenticity is not in doubt Translators were astonished to discover the scrolls were written by men who participated in building the Great Pyramid Most remarkably, however, Professor Nabir Al-Sammud says these documents reveal just how the pyramids were constructed He says the pyramids of Giza were built by dinosaurs This discovery rewrites history as we know it

It suggests that humans and dinosaurs coexisted for a time, and that the Egyptians were able to harness the strength of the terrible lizards Professor Al-Sammud says, “I understand our present view of human history is completely different from what we are proposing, but based on these ancient papyri we must consider the possibility that dinosaurs may have lived amongst ancient Egyptians and were possibly tamed to carry the huge blocks that compose the pyramids” Lending support to his claim are images in ancient Egyptian art Their art is known for its accuracy, particularly in representing animals It has therefore long perplexed historians, that the earliest Egyptian art depicts these strange creatures

Called Serpopards, they only occur in ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian art There is no denying that they bear a striking resemblance to sauropods, with their extended necks and swirling tails Only their catlike heads distinguish them from dinosaurs One of the oldest examples of Serpopard art, the Narmer palette, dating from before 3,000 BC

, shows them being reigned in by humans handlers This suggests these gigantic creatures were tamed by humans Then in 2014, another remarkable discovery was made in Egypt The remains of new type of sauropod were found Called paralititan, it was up to 90 feet long and weighed as much as 70 tonnes

What better way to heave the massive stones to the heights of the pyramid’s peak, than with the second largest dinosaur to have ever lived? This discovery offers a huge boon to creationists like Vince Fenech, who take the words of the the Bible, literally Creationists believe God made the Earth and all that is on it in six days, and that the books of Genesis, Exodus, Job, Jeremiah and the Psalms are describing dinosaurs when they mention great monsters Vince Fenech consequently believes the Earth is no more than 10,000 years old, and dinosaurs and humans co-existed Specifically, Fenech claims ancient Egyptians used dinosaurs to build the great pyramid Some famous creationists, like Ben Carson, believe the pyramids were built to store grain, based on an interpretation of the story of Joseph in Genesis

Experts disagree The pyramids are not hollow The Great Pyramid does contain at least three chambers, but egyptologists say they are not for grain: they say it is the tomb of the pharaoh Khufu, while the smaller pyramids are tombs for his sons Still, much of their interior remains unexplored The consensus among historians and archaeologists is that humans and dinosaurs were separated by many millions of years

Fossil evidence suggests the dinosaurs were wiped out by a cataclysm about 65 million years ago The bones of the paralititans were dated to 95 or 99 million years ago – far, far earlier than the construction of the pyramids Geologists say the Earth is over 4 billion years old, not 10,000 Historians are also certain that humans could have built the pyramids without the help of gigantic dinosaurs The quarry is basically next door to the structure, and the stones did not have far to travel

They could have been transported on sleds, with workers lubricating the sand with water However, there is a much bigger problem with the dinosaur theory When researching this theory, we could find no evidence that Professor Nabir Al-Sammud really exists The first mention of him seems to have been in the World News Daily Report, a purportedly American newspaper based in Tel Aviv, in Israel It is often considered satirical and Zionist, and has been accused of being fake news

It could well have created the character of Professor Al-Sammud as a joke at Egypt’s expense Pierre Tallet, who found and translated the papyri, does not say they make any mention of dinosaurs Instead, they reveal how some stones quarried eight miles away were transported to the pyramid on boats During the flooding season, the River Nile rose high enough to reach and inland port just a few metres from the base of the pyramid In all, egyptologists believe several thousand workers spent two decades building the Great Pyramid

It is an engineering marvel, aligned with the points of the compass and still standing after four and a half thousand years Its mysteries are still being uncovered, so it is unsurprising that people might speculate as to why and how it was built Nevertheless, scientists, archaeologists and historians agree that the idea that dinosaurs were involved in building the pyramids, is untrue
